Calvetica Calendar App Reviews

As a user since before the calvetica upgrade, it is odd that I now have to pay again for an app Ive already once purchased. Shouldnt it be the choice made by the customer of which version to use? That said, this version of the app works well, its quick and simple and looks amazing. Its relatively easy to use, further integration with google services such as google tasks is needed. Also a way to back up the calendar database incase of any information loss. Overall, I tend to use this over any other calendar app. Fingers crossed they develop this app further to give the customer a choice in version and ultimately, release its full potential and customer satisfaction.

Seems to always crash when I add a calendar. Because of that nothing is moving across from my iCal calendars.

Very good job on this one, better then the default apple calendar. Faster, cleaner, easy to read, notifications alarms is working like a charm.Compatible with the iPad great update tks

Ive tried many of the best-selling calendar apps, find this to be the best. I love the scrollable month view, also the fact that uncompleted tasks roll over to the next day (to me the only sensible way to do it). Beautiful clean look, I love it.

I absolutely love the ease of this app! However, just like the built in calendar it doesnt save any information for more then a month. I cant seem to find a calendar that will do this :( if it would not delete my past events, it would be perfect. If you dont care about that though, Id suggest getting this app. Its very user friendly!

Crashes when I create a new task on my current-gen iPad, and I only chose it over others because of its task functionality.

I really like this app keeps track of everything, Two things that need to happen though is: -Keep the tasks!! And ensure the app does not crash each time you add a new task -Add a way to sync accepted Facebook invites into the calendar

I am so tired of the event entry window slipping below the keyboard. How am I to enter event details when I cant see the entry window? Also views do not always rotate properly and screen often redraws vertically compressed. Im looking for a better calendar app.

Crashes on every new entry... It is totally useless. Couldnt enter a single event.

I am loathe to negatively review apps however this one is warranted. The UI on Calvetica is beautiful however the app freezes both my iPhone 4 as well as my iPad 2 (for approximately 5 seconds) whenever I leave the app. Everything locks up and this only happens with Calvetica. Support form the developers has been non-existent

Best calendar app I have ever used. Very fast, gets all my stuff from Google without error. Pretty much perfect.

Need iPhone 5 support. App is cluttered based on the nature of the UI and there is a much needed update for it.

I am now unable to use this app (which I paid for) due to the iOS 6 requirement since my original iPad cant be upgraded beyond iOS 5.1

Does this need Lion/Mountain Lion? Much as I dislike the fake leather and torn page in Apples Calendar, at least it syncs with my Snow Leopard-fueled Mac. With Calvetica I get blank pages.

Be sure to heed the warning that as of V4.5, Calvetica requires iOS6 or later. Thats too bad. Im still on iOS5, for a number of reasons (Maps, Podcasts, impaired performance on my older iDevices). I really liked Calvetica, and am saddened that those who wear the Mysterious Trousers couldnt find a way to maintain backwards compatibility with iOS5. Or perhaps the structure of Apples APIs wouldnt let them.

specifically this calendar app. its perfect. adding events is easy, everything is really fluid. it shows you in calendar mode how many events you have that day... okay, its a little sad to get excited over a calendar, right? but its the best calendar app,

Update: I contacted the creators over 2 weeks ago about the app deleting my calendar entries. No one has bothered to get back to me.

This app wont even let me add an event. When I go to save it the app exits and kicks me out without saving it.

Been using this app for 3 months, for work and play. Its not any faster than apples calendar and sometimes its very slow synching. I switched yesterday to fantastical for the iPhone and there is a very significant improvement in speed - making this app redundant. Some nice features, but just too slow for my needs.
