Calvetica Calendar App Reviews

Buggy…lack of developer development?

It seems development has drawn to a virtual stop on this app with few updates. Bugs still remain and at this point shouldn’t be there. In Dot View Only I get extra Dots on a day for events that don’t happen until the next day. Both dots show up but the earlier dot shouldn’t exist. Goes away in any other view. I also experienced the No Data exists and only framework until changing views and then relaunching app. The developer could spend a little time on this app and have it be one of the best calendar apps out there yet he has chosen to not address some quite embarrassing defects in his product. Here’s to hoping you get on the ball and fix the product we all paid faithfully for.

Update after update it keeps getting worse.

I contacted their support asking for the ability to set the default view to "full day" instead of "agenda". They said stay tuned for an update. The was six months ago. This is an easy fix everyone would like. One star until its fixed.

WOW

This is a great calendar app. As someone who finds many apps I buy as difficult to use, this app is so instinctive and easy to use, I absolutely love it. Transitioning from a Palm,I find this to be similar and therefore very simple for me. The updates change things quite a bit, but I find customer service to be helpful in resolution of the problems

Best month view in any calendar

Not sure why so many poor reviews. I use it with my google calendar and it works great. I have looked at a lot of calendars and this one has the best monthly view which is the only view that I use. I have been using it for years.

Love this app - but cant edit google calendar colors

Calveticas UI and graphic design are brilliant. But against that brilliant background it is annoying that I cant edit the colors of the many linked Google calendars that I need to track. I contacted the developers several times but they seem to have lost interest.

Dont bother

I just bought and downloaded the app specifically since it claims to be able to search for events that are well past six the months that the iOS calendar can do. It cant even find an event from two weeks ago. There is no link to get any kind of support from this developer

iPad version is much better

I don’t know why, but the iPad version is muuuuuuch better. Clear and easy to read monthly view, and it’s pretty easy to enter new events. It even matches the colors I give calendars in Gmail and iCloud as well. The iPhone version looks horrible. A tiny, scrunched up impossible to read monthly view, and turning the iPhone to landscape view locks it into a side scrolling weekly view, no monthly view at all. Stick to the iPad version, it is easily the best calendar app out there - the iPhone version is one of the worst.
