I was in a panic because I did the update and couldnt see anything. Kasbar told how to fix the problem and Im back up and running.. I love this calendar. It works well with my schedule. Thank you Kasbar9. You were a life saver !

I like it some, but I HATE that it doesnt remove calendar events that have been cancelled. Why does it sync new events but wont remove the cancelled items? No app updates since November 2013. Did the developers just call it quits? At least introduce color options for a theme other than red! Its been almost a year, so do some customer service!!! Or tell us that youre done so we can buy something new! May 2015 Update: so, were there improvements? Looks like people hate the new version. Makes sense.

I have been using this app for about 5 years and couldnt give it a single negative. Its usability is outstanding, presentation is compact and efficient and very easy to understand. And no fluff at all. The issue with gray screen is easy to fix as other reviews have already said. A tiny glitch in the grand scheme of things. This is the one app that has held the top left corner of my home screen since day one.

If you’re having any of the following issues, here’s what to do: 1- If your events aren’t showing up in the bottom view: tap the 3 line icon on the red bar and choose your view again to get those events back. 2- If the app won’t open on an iPad, delete and reinstall the app. 3- Customer service says an update is coming for the times on the side that don’t always show up. 4- There is also an update coming to fix the black lines. Write customer support if you’re having trouble, they always answer me.

So, minutes after posting this review below, I got in touch with the developer and chatted with a support person. Heres what I learned: They are aware of the problem and its also a very easy fix for us the user right now. There is an update coming to fix the blank events, but fear not, its not gone. To make your events reappear after the last update, just go to the 3 line icon and deselect your event view and poof all is back to normal. I still love this app and so glad to see a company that is so responsive and available. Thank you all at Mysterious Trousers! Ive been using Calvetica since 1.0. Ive been a huge fan and proponent of the app. I tell everyone I know about it and always suggest they replace the stock calendar with it. Once you get used to the gestures, its easily the most useful calendaring app out there. I have it on iPad 2 and iPhone 5S. I recently did the update and now the events view is blank. The app is useless without being able to see events. I know they will have an update soon, because I refuse to believe they will let this stay this way. Im mainly writing this to let you the reader know that, this is the first issue Ive had with the app not working and it is still a worthwhile app. I would wait to purchase until they have fixed this issue, but Im sure its just a flipped bit somewhere in the code and theyll find it. As one recent reviewer stated, I have tried many, many calendar apps and this one just continues to be the best. Calvetica didnt invent the proverbial wheel, but it DID present the smoothest rolling, easiest-to-use one ever. It is so easy to create and edit events, set multiple reminders, and the viewing options are comprehensive. This app has just about anything I could ask for in a calendar app, and yet is the easiest to use of any Ive seen. P.S.: I also had crashing issues after the update, but found that a simple reinstall fixed the whole problem.

Its my own fault. Ive been using Fantastical 2 for a while and really like it. From time to time I look into other apps and wonder if another app is better. This app is okay, Its not bad but its not polished like F2 is. I think its about 3 good updates behind.

New version crashes on the iPad Air upon opening. i love this app but it gets 1 star until this is fixed.

This app was amazing until the update. Suddenly I can not see any of my events unless I tip it sideways and then I can only partially see and edit them. I would have posted this as a review, but this HUGE glitch hasnt been fixed for a few days.

Since the update Ive been unable to open this on my iPad...crashes immediately. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Also sent several messages but have yet to get a response.

Its a joke, Yes? No! You mean sync settings with iCloud means that that calendar and its events should appear? No events appear. No calendars appear. No choices appear. Its all blank except for the Calvetica framework. Big bug somewhere. iOS 8.3 on iPhone 6 Plus

Your view settings (full-day or agenda) should be sticky. Changing it every time I launch the app is a deal breaker.

...would you eliminate the ability to default to full day view???!! It renders the app much less helpful, and I paid for this one way back when!

This continues to show up on my home page, despite not adding the features that other calendars offer. Why? It is elegant. Simply elegant. Useful and functional too, but mostly it is simply elegant.

This is terrible because the view settings dont save. I have to change it every time I try to add something

I tried several different ios calendar apps and this one remains do the best one Ive tried. Fast, sleek and works great with Google Calendar
